New Jailbreak Tweak: Allows iPhone Apps to run Side-by-Side in iPad

As we can observe in iPad, some apps (especially games) are in smaller screen size because they are designed initially for iPhone or [easyazon-link asin="B001FA1O0O"]iPod touch[/easyazon-link] when being launched in iPad. It doesn’t take up the whole screen, so there is a possibility to use the remaining space.

If you are thinking about that, then it’s the same with Aaron Ash who also thought about utilizing the lost space in your iPad. As a jailbreak developer from Georgia who also developed “Multiflow” tweak, Ash has developed a new jailbreak tweak which allows several iPhone apps to run side-by-side into your iPad. This is a better solution for the lost space in iPad screen at the same time giving users advantage in multi-tasking. For instance, he was able to play two Angry Birds at the same time as proven from his iPad’s screenshot.

The potential of this tweak is not just limited to playing multiple games at the same time. Productivity apps can be reached through this tool when developed and innovated more in the coming days. Users can then visualize the information from multiple Apps without switching apps through the default multi-tasking feature. For now, bugs are still present that needs to be fixed before launching this app to everyone. Accelerometer movements are not detected yet but multiple apps can be rearranged using “Toggle Edit Mode” and even manually switch to landscape mode.

There is no exact date yet for the release of this jailbreak tweak. But can this be a sense of future multi-tasking performance for large tablet PC like the iPad? We’ll probably wait for the updates while being excited about it.
