JailbreakME 3.0 Bugs were fixed by Cydia Upgrade

If you have jailbroken your iPad 2 with JailbreakME 3.0, you may notice that some bugs are present (as I said in the previous post) as expected. Though we should be happy that the jailbreak for iPad 2 was released, we will be happier when these bugs will be fixed.

Today, Saurik (Cydia developer) together with the jailbreak community has managed to fix the problem regarding the bugs that JailbreakME 3.0 has brought. The bugs included some apps not working properly and the Camera Kit not working. JailbreakME 3.0 has received “Essential Upgrade” via Cydia and every user who have jailbroken their iPad 2 are encouraged to apply the upgrade as

soon as possible to continue a smooth running of the apps.

In Twitter, I caught Jay Freeman (Saurik) quoting:

JailbreakME 3.0 is the first jailbreak method available for iPad 2. This is also the only fastest and easiest way to jailbreak an iDevice running Firmware 4.3.3 and has been incomparable to other jailbreak methods. For sure, Apple is now working to fix the vulnerability that the exploit has brought using Safari. If Apple will release iOS 4.3.X, avoid the update if you want to stay having a jailbroken iPad 2. Make sure to install the PDF Patcher 2 after jailbreaking with JailbreakME 3.0 to fix the vulnerabilities while having a jailbroken iPad 2.

Over the weekend, more than 2 Million iDevices have been jailbroken using JailbreakME 3.0. No wonder Apple’s on a hurry to fix the hole made by Comex in his exploit. But for us, who are now enjoying this jailbreak method, let’s continue to support the developers by giving back the honor to them. A little help would mean so much to them by tapping the donation button in jailbreakme.com.

This video helps guide you to upgrade the essential (in case you are having a hard time):
