Delete multiple images from iPad camera roll

iPad is a great tablet and the camera roll app on it is one of the great apps to manage images on it. But there is no option to delete multiple images in one go on the camera roll app. There is no option to select more than one image and then hit the delete button just once to delete all the images at once. If you want to clear out the camera roll app of all the images you dont want, you will have to manually select each image and then delete it. Imagine the amount of work you have to do when you have hundreds of images on your iPad. You will have to hire a person to do it for you, it can get that worse.

But now, there is one way you can very easily clear out the entire collection of photos there is on your iPad in one go. This is the most easiest and the quickest way to do it. But for this, you’ll need an Apple Mac computer and the Image Capture software installed on it. Considering that you have this much ready, lets get started.

Launch the Image Capture software on your Mac, then connect your iPad to the Mac. The Image Capture software should recognize the iPad immediately. Once the iPad is recognized, the software will start displaying the thumbnails of all the images stored on the iPad. Now, observe the bottom right corner of Image Capture’s screen. You’ll see the Import All button. To the left of this, you’ll see a drop down menu. With this, you can set the folder to which the images have to be imported.

Now, select the option “Delete after import.” This will delete all the images on the iPad once they are imported to your Mac. Next time when you run the camera roll app on your iPad, you’ll see the roll has been cleared.
