We all know that when the iPad was launched, its screen was not as great as the Retina display of an iPhone 4 even with the iPad 2. But thanks to the jailbreak community who are always giving improvements to what Apple has not brought. RetinaPad and FullForce will definitely change the way iPads are being seen by others (especially the Android users).

RetinaPad

RetinaPad is a jailbreak tweak that allows you to enable Retina Display for iPhone apps in an iPad. Ryan Petrich, the famous jailbreak developer, has come up with the idea of enhancing iPhone apps. Although iPad can run iPhone apps through compatibility mode, the apps will get blurred when expanded to 2 times mode even after installing Retina Display screen app. So, what RetinaPad can do was to fix this issue by getting a good support for any apps or games which are running Retina graphics.

To install, search for “RetinaPad” in Cydia and install. Select the iPhone application in the NEW 2x mode. You will now find that the picture will then be sharp and clear like the iPhone Retina display. Priced at $2.99, RetinaPad is more than worthy to have if you have an iPad.

FullForce

By default, when you run some iPhone app in an iPad, it doesn’t fit the whole thing in your screen. Although there is a procedure to enable full screen mode by editing the code to a plist file, there is a new jailbreak tweak that will make the job easy. FullForce is available in Cydia for free which when installed, adds an extra setting to your Settings App that will provide toggle switches to full screen mode to any of your iPhone sized apps. The results will vary depending on an app even though some apps will have specific graphics to be viewed.
