Dolphin Browser HD - a replacement for Safari

Developed by MoboTap, the most popular browser on Android platform is now available to iPad users. After being released for the iPhone, Dolphin Browser brought new features like tabbed browsing, gestures and more. It was also crowned as the first browser on the iOS platform to feature gestured browsing.

The feature that makes Dolphin Browser HD unique is built-in Gestures. These gestures allow users to access bookmarks and functions inside the browser without accessing menus. Simply, these gestures are customized shortcuts. For example, if you want to open YouTube, draw letter ‘y’ on the screen and Dolphin will understand that the gesture is for YouTube. Same with the letter ‘T’ gesture for Twitter. Users can add new gestures to the browser, which makes this browser highly customizable and user friendly.

Speed Dial allows you to quickly access up to 9 websites. This is a similar feature to the one found on other browsers like Opera Mini. But, the difference is the Webzine feature. Dolphin Webzine gives a magazine like experience while accessing frequent websites. Tabbed browsing makes the user interface similar to PC based browsers.

Dolphin Browser HD provides more advantages over Safari. These gestures are really quicker than accessing bookmarks in Safari. If you do not like Apple Safari browser much, then you might need to give Dolphin Browser HD a try.

Download Dolphin Browser HD from Apple iTunes Store.
